Canada Post customer service not so good…

So today we had a customer that called up inquiring about why their package hadn’t arrived. So I start to panic as the package should have been delivered almost a week ago. Even worse, it was a baby gift our customer had sent some friends. So I check the status of the package with the tracking number and the parcel has been checked at the Mississauga Canada Post office three times already up to about four days ago. When I call Canada Post, I am told it will take up to five business days for them to get back to me with an answer! After that frustrating call, I do some digging myself and figure out there is a problem with the address my customer gave me. So I call them back to explain the situation – with a sigh of relief that it is not our fault. Anyway, I don’t know whether any of you have had problems with Canada Post but I will certainly be talking to UPS and Fedex now to see what their rates are. The address on this parcel was slightly off, but the postal code was accurate! So you’d think they should have been able to deliver it. Sorry Cindy!
